From Master Electrician to Global Market Leader

For more than 40 years, the name JOKARI has been standing all over the world for high-quality cable stripping tools “made in Germany”. A family-run business in its third generation, we are successful in holding our place as the leaders of the global market. But all things start small. The roots of the JOKARI-Krampe GmbH lie in a simple electronics and hi-fi store, founded in 1949 by the Krampe family. In their work, they came to understand the needs and wishes of their electrician clients.
With this unique insight, the master electrician Josef Krampe designed the groundbreaking JOKARI knife, which made the formerly laborious task of stripping cables effortless. The great success of the tool encouraged Josef Krampe to begin the production of cable stripping tools as a sideline to the family store. This was the first step from family business to a successful leader of industry.

We are active all over the world and employ an international distribution network for our tools. We continue to expand our product range, launch innovative ideas and products, and have become a leading name for precision tools for cable stripping and de-insulation purposes. With our new administration building and the updating of our production facilities, we are starting a new chapter in the growth of our company in 2010.
